Holiday is located in Pasco County, just north of Tarpon Springs, south of New Port Richey, and less than 25 miles from Tampa. The population was 22,403 as of the 2010 census.
Holiday is attractive to many retirees and starter home buyers because of its wide variety of affordable homes as well as waterfront homes.

Holiday is part of the Pasco County School System with 3 elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
