Our beaches are gorgeous with super-fine, sugar-white sand. Clearwater Beach is raked every single day, very early in the morning, and it’s pretty pristine in terms of cleanliness. Clearwater Beach's commitment to safety is notable as well, with lifeguards present year-round.

Clearwater Beach holds a nightly sunset celebration that starts prior to sundown and lasts for two hours after. The sunset celebration includes flame-throwers, break dancers, magicians, escape artists, crafters, and other performers who all gather at Pier 60.
We have our own Gulf Coast vibe, which is very different than Florida’s east coast. The 30 or so miles of coast from Pass-A-Grille Beach. just south of St. Pete Beach. to Caladesi Island at the northern end is more ‘resort’ than the east coast. There is less traffic, fewer people, and wider and more open beaches. From pristine state parks and quiet islands to vibrant active beaches, from quaint charming small-towns to metropolitan areas, we have it all.

Housing affordability is better on Florida's west coast than on the east coast. Our Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater region is also more affordable than many of the west coast’s destinations to the south, like Naples and Sarasota.
